Sponsorship Terms of Service
Conditions for entry-based sponsorship listings on The Makers Guild.
Purpose & Scope
These Terms govern entry, review, placement, fees, and rights for sponsorships on The Makers Guild.
Eligibility
Comply with public order, applicable laws, and industry guidelines; necessary rights cleared.
Entry & Evaluation
Entry: 21st–20th each month (for the month after next). Score = Offered price × term multiplier (1.00/1.05/1.10/1.20). Ties may be optimized for layout.
Display Period & Placement
Period: 12:00 a.m. on the 1st to 12:00 a.m. on the next 1st. Front: 3 sets of four (A–D/E–H/I–L) between major sections. Single posts: A–L stacked in right sidebar; on mobile, below content.
Creative Requirements
Square image (recommended 1200×1200 px; min 800×800; ≤2 MB). PNG/JPG (SVG recommended for logos). No trimming.
Fees & Payment
After closing, invoices are sent within a few days (PayPal/Bank). Pay within 3 days; transfer fees borne by sponsor.
Changes & Cancellation
Changes accepted until 3 business days before start (may incur actual costs). No cancellation after start.
Prohibited Content
Illegal, misleading, infringing, adult, gambling, or harmful content is prohibited.
Review & Suspension
We may suspend/replace/refund if deemed inappropriate.
Privacy & Data
Used only for operations; no third-party provision except by law; analytics are statistical only.
Credits & Attribution
PR label shown; assets licensed non-exclusively for a limited term.
Liability
No liability for disasters, outages, or external causes; violators may be liable for damages.
Force Majeure
Non-performance excused for disasters, war, epidemics, regulations.
Governing Law
Japanese law; Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction.
Multilingual Operation
Submit entries per language; per-language target URLs supported.
Communication
Notices and invoices are sent primarily by email.
Amendments
Terms may be revised; publication constitutes effect.
